Pre-Insulated PEX-A Pipes

Pre-Insulated PEX-A pipes come in single pipe and double pipe configurations. Use brass transition to get to NPT.

  • Available in sizes 32mm thru 110mm

Materials

  • Service Pipe: Cross-linked Polyethylene (Pex-a), manufactured per the Engle method complete with an EVOH oxygen barrier to conform to DIN 4726. Surface roughness value of 0.02 mil. NSF certified SDR-11
  • Insulation: Consists of microcellular, cross-linked polyethylene closed cell foam, CFC free. Service temperature of 1/2″ thru 1″ -112°F to 230°F. Water absorption after 28 days DIN 53428 &lt 1.04% of volume.
  • Jacket: Corrugated closed chamber seamless high density polyethylene (HDPE) UV protected
  • Approval: NSF 14 and NSF 61
  • Operating Limits: Working Pressure are 220 psi @ 68°F, 88 psi @ 203°F and 132 psi for gas
